Website revamp for Lá ‘le Bríde 2019

We gathered for Assembly today to celebrate our Patron Saint and to reflect on the message of her life for us today. Across the centuries, St Brigid is associated with hospitality and Christian goodness.

The pupils in second class performed a beautiful play illustrating the cloak of St Brigid and we prayed for our families at home and relations and friends in other schools around Ireland who are celebrating St Brigid too. Fr Robert blessed the St Brigid Crosses for individual classes and invited children to keep other younger children in their prayers through this weekend.

In the early afternoon, Mrs Durkin & Miss Shaw invited Caelan and Luke (our the IT Experts) to launch the revamped school website via the Public Address system from her office.

A countdown was followed by “Ignition and Take off!”
